Family Photographer | Alison Aberdeen Photography | Flower Mound, TX

My very first photo session ever was a family session and it has stayed, tried and true, my home-base as far as my career goes. My goal as a family photographer during our hour together is to capture the in-between moments and nuances that make your family unique to you and only you. I always tell my clients that I want our sessions to feel like home, like you're having a movie night on the couch together, or having a dance party in the living room, or like someone just scored a goal in the big game. I want your special moments to translate into your images. The love, the warmth, the silliness - all of it. Read more below on how I achieve just that every. single. time.

Planning these sessions begin with you filling out a brief questionnaire which helps me get to know you and your family a little bit better and to prepare for our time together. This is key in how I prompt real emotions and laughs from your little ones especially! This will also be where you can choose your location as well as let me know your styling preferences. I offer an extensive Client Closet in a wide variety of sizes and styles, as well as an online styling platform that takes the stress and guesswork out of choosing cohesive outfits for everyone involved. Most of the dresses in my Client Closet are adjustable or meant for up/down sizing and I offer complimentary try-ons prior to your session.

I primarily shoot Maternity Sessions at Murrell Park in Flower Mound, TX and HIGHLY recommend this spot solely because of the beautiful tall grass fields, rocky lakeside and gorgeous golden sunsets. I also shoot at Green Acres Memorial Park, Stone Creek Park, The Lumen Room: Denton and The River Walk and an urban parking garage in the River Walk area.

The number one rule in my sessions is to HAVE FUN and never take yourselves too seriously. Let's capture these fleeting moments soon and make some sunset magic happen!
