Capturing maternity has quickly become what I am the MOST passionate about in my career. It is the beginning of a family or an incredible addition to an already beautiful family which is something to celebrate. There is something so intoxicating about a woman showcasing this absolutely miraculous feat in life. I know firsthand how difficult pregnancy can be for some and how some days can be excruciatingly painful and uncomfortable, so when an expectant mama comes to me and wants to book a session, I take this very seriously. I want to be sure that for at least one hour you feel absolutely glamorous, comfortable and super-human because that is EXACTLY what you are.

Planning these sessions begin with you filling out a brief questionnaire which helps me get to know you and your family (if applicable) a little better and to prepare for our time together. This will also be where you can choose your location as well as let me know your styling preferences. I offer an extensive Client Closet in a wide variety of sizes and styles, as well as an online styling platform that takes the stress and guesswork out of choosing cohesive outfits for everyone involved. Most of the dresses in my Client Closet are adjustable or sized with a maternity bump in mind and I offer complimentary try-ons prior to your session.

I primarily shoot Maternity Sessions at Murrell Park in Flower Mound, TX and HIGHLY recommend this spot solely because of the beautiful tall grass fields, rocky lakeside and gorgeous golden sunsets. I also shoot at Green Acres Memorial Park, Stone Creek Park, The Lumen Room: Denton and The River Walk.

As a seasoned maternity photographer, if I could give any advice on what you can do to make your maternity session more magical and captivating, I would suggest budgeting professional hair and makeup and choosing a stunning gown that provides movement and a flattering fit. I would also advise staying between 28-34 weeks if possible, when your bump is at it's cutest and you're not too uncomfortable just yet. These three things will make your maternity images go the extra mile when it comes to drama and glamour.

Finally, if you book your maternity photoshoot with me, you automatically receive a discount on your at-home lifestyle newborn session, which we'll start planning months in advance to be sure it's exactly the aesthetic you're hoping for!

Don't skip this momentous occasion - book a maternity session - you' will not be sorry!
